Hi Yvette - This does sound like an awesome product! I am currently using plain old "Chap Stick Classic" under my lipstick and I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you that it helps for smoothing, but not for lipstick staying power. DeleteThis does sound pretty awesome! I actually stopped wearing lip color simply because even the products advertised as long lasting don't last long enough.

Mac does make some good cosmetics. I may have to go pick this up and sport some colorful lips~
I guess you could wear it without lipstick but it's designed to be worn under product. You may want to try just their lip balm if you don't want to wear color.
